"Salute My Shorts!" by Rilo Kiley

From what I understand, the original name of this song was "Spectacular Views" and written by Jenny Lewis but Blake also wrote a song by this name which Jenny sings on, so Blake sang this Jenny song and titled it after one of the TV shows he was on as a kid actor. Whew, these kids are complicated. But I love this song and I was performing it live for a while. Kim mentioned that she'd like to hear a recorded version, so here we are. I really love "Take Offs and Landings", the Rilo Kiley album that this song is taken from, but lately I've been enjoying their respective solo efforts, The Elected & Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins, much more.
